Refund Policy

⚠️ All sales of digital products are final.
Because FileSet.org sells digital content that is delivered and accessible immediately after purchase,
we are unable to offer refunds once access has been granted.
By completing a purchase you expressly waive your 14-day right of withdrawal
as permitted under Article 16(m) of EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU.
1. Why We Cannot Offer Refunds
Unlike physical goods, digital products (ebooks, asset packs, etc.) are delivered instantly and cannot be "returned". Once you have downloaded or accessed the file, we have no way of ensuring the content is no longer in your possession.
This policy is consistent with EU Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m), which allows businesses to exclude the right of withdrawal for digital content where:
- The performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent, and
- The consumer acknowledged that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal.
Both conditions are fulfilled at our checkout via a mandatory consent checkbox that you must tick before the "Buy Now" button becomes active.
2. The Consent Checkbox
Before completing any purchase on FileSet.org, you must tick a checkbox that reads:
"I acknowledge that this is a digital product delivered immediately upon purchase. By completing this purchase I expressly waive my 14-day right of withdrawal under Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and agree to FileSet.org's Refund Policy and Terms of Service."
This consent is recorded and attached to your transaction. Without ticking this box the purchase cannot be completed.
3. Limited Exceptions
We may, at our sole discretion, issue a full or partial refund in the following situations:
- Technical failure: The product file attached to your order email is corrupted, unopenable, or was not delivered and we are unable to provide a working replacement within 72 hours of your report.
- Duplicate purchase: You accidentally purchased the same product twice within 24 hours. Contact us with proof and we will refund the duplicate charge.
- Significantly not as described: The product is materially and verifiably different from its description on the product page (e.g. advertised as 300 pages but contains only 10 pages).
These exceptions do not apply if you simply changed your mind, found the content elsewhere, or did not read the product description carefully before purchasing.
4. How to Report an Issue
If you experience any of the above issues, please contact us at [email protected] within 7 days of purchase and include:
- Your download code (found in the confirmation email)
- The product name
- A clear description of the issue
- Screenshots or evidence supporting your claim
We aim to respond within 3 business days and will do our best to resolve your issue as quickly as possible.
5. Chargebacks
Filing a chargeback without first contacting us is a violation of our Terms of Service. We keep records of all purchases and consent records. If a fraudulent chargeback is filed, we reserve the right to dispute it and may provide the card network with evidence of your purchase consent.
